The A’ Design Award and Competition is an international award that aims to recognise projects distinguished by their originality, functionality and contribution to the advancement of design culture.
According to the jury, Glamora’s Special Edition received this recognition for its “ability to combine design quality, innovation and functionality, while also helping to improve consumers’ everyday experience”.
In this context, Tramae Collection emerges as a decorative proposal that expands the design potential of surfaces, bringing to the wall the expressive depth of handcrafted material.
The result is a wallcovering conceived for residential interiors and public spaces, able to adapt naturally to both large- and small-scale projects.
The collection finds its expression in GlamOrigin, a matt, three-dimensional textured wallcovering, characterised by engravings and reliefs that evoke the elegance of sculpted plaster or hand-modelled concrete.
Its composition, achieved through the layering of quartz powder on a non-woven backing, enhances the depth of the surface through a refined interplay of light and shadow.
Through four distinctive patterns — Ricami, Rilievi, Tracce and Veli — Tramae Collection interprets the three-dimensionality of matter with an essential and sophisticated language.
The possibility of combining motifs and tones opens up calibrated compositional solutions, from more understated surfaces to dynamic and scenographic configurations, offering designers new perspectives for defining intimate, elegant and timeless atmospheres.
The Silver A’ Design Award 2026 thus recognises the value of a collection that brings together material research, artisanal memory and design versatility, transforming the wallcovering into an architectural surface capable of giving character, rhythm and depth to interiors.
