Nakkash Design Studio creates a workplace that redefines well-being through color, materiality, and acoustic comfort.

Inside Fortune Tower—one of the iconic buildings overlooking Dubai’s Jumeirah Lake—a new executive office takes shape, breaking free from the conventions of the typical corporate environment.

Here, the workplace abandons rigidity to become a space of welcome, aesthetic refinement, and focus. The project was conceived by Nakkash Design Studio, an award-winning practice based in the UAE, renowned for its human-centered design philosophy and for creating a harmonious dialogue between form, function, and emotion. Commissioned by a family active in the financial sector, this “uncorporate office” was designed with a clear purpose: to foster well-being and productivity.

The interiors speak a measured yet expressive visual language, built around a sophisticated palette that combines powder blue, deep reds, warm whites, and earthy tones.

Carefully balanced, these colors bring both vitality and focus, while also evoking warmth and hospitality through the interplay of soft hues and more saturated accents. Rather than dominating the space, color modulates it—creating an empathetic relationship between people and their environment.

The choice of furnishings—featuring rounded, enveloping forms—further enhances the sense of intimacy and immersion.

The result is an atmosphere that engages the senses without overwhelming them. Matte surfaces, solid volumes, and tactile materials define a style subtly inspired by 1960s aesthetics, without lapsing into nostalgia.

At the heart of the interior, the Dorazio wallcovering from Creative Collection Chapter XII serves as a visual anchor.

With its geometric detailing and vibrant accents, it creates a discreet yet striking presence. Its dynamic rhythm and luminous palette merge painterly expression with fractured geometries, enriching the space without overpowering it.
