Contrappunto Collection was created to shape Contemporary interiors with a warm, architectural character, where natural materiality enters into dialogue with a minimal, balanced and elegant graphic language.

Collection Concept

The collection takes form on abacá, a plant fibre also known as Manila hemp, handwoven on a loom. Its natural irregularities enhance the authentic quality of the surfaces, creating a lively, allover tactility.

The texture embraces a distilled, pure visual language, built through subtraction: primary geometric forms meet clean, delicate lines, while hatching, marks and freehand brushstrokes evoke a sense of creative wandering.

It is an invitation to design playfully, to create interiors starting from the archetypes of a new expressive grammar.

The natural variability of abacá meets the rigour of the design, generating, in each of the ten wallcoverings in the collection, a dynamic effect born from a refined balance between materiality and abstraction.

Material details

GlamAbacà is a wallcovering made from handwoven natural abacá fibres using time-honoured techniques. Its linear weave, marked by spontaneous variations in tone and texture, creates a tactile, inviting surface with a refined, rigorous character.
